The Belgian attacker is absent from the second leg with a 'knock'.
Everton won the first-leg of their Europa League last 16 tie 2-1, but were unlucky not to score more. In the end, that lack of potency may end up costing them.
French outfit Guingamp travelled to Kiev in the last round with the same scoreline, but were dumped out and Kiev is a notoriously hard place to visit. Dynamo Stadium is a frightening enough venue, without the current civil war in the country being taken into account. Everton know that they will be entering a cauldron of white smoke in the East.
They will also have to do so without Kevin Mirallas.
Everton flew out to Ukraine today and it was confirmed on their official Twitter account earlier that the Belgian international, who would have been a likely starter in Kiev, was absent.

He missed the weekend win over Newcastle United with a ‘knock’ but Roberto Martinez seemed to say that he would be fit for this fixture.

That has now clearly proved to not be the case. Everton will now have to complete the job without him.
