West Ham goalkeeper Adrian labelled Arsenal trio Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla 'fantastic' in an interview with the West Ham official website.
The Spaniard has been one of West Ham's star performers this season, but could do little to prevent the Hammers slipping to a third consecutive defeat against Arsenal on Saturday.
Goals from Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini secured a comfortable 3-0 victory for the Gunners, meaning West Ham have now won just once in the last 12 games.
Manager Sam Allardyce is under increasing pressure, but Adrian preferred to praise three Arsenal stars rather than blame any of his team mates or manager.
As Arsenal made it five Premier League wins in a row, Arsene Wenger saw great displays from Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud, whilst Santi Cazorla had a strong cameo as a substitute too.
All three have been in great form recently, and Adrian told the West Ham official website that they are all 'fantastic' players, and reflected on his side's display at the Emirates Stadium.
"We’re unlucky to concede a goal just before half time," said Adrian. "Olivier Giroud hit the ball very well but I thought I could have done better. I thought we started the second half well, we put pressure on them. But then they scored the second goal and that was it."
"I thought Arsenal played very well, particularly in attack, they have very good players. With Giroud, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla, they are all fantastic players," he added.
Arsenal must now look to overturn that 3-1 deficit against Monaco in the Champions League, whilst West Ham will be focusing on ending this terrible run of form against Sunderland this coming Saturday.
