Shayon Harrison scored four against Chelsea for Tottenham's under-18 side at the weekend but couldn't help his side avoid defeat.
Exciting striker Shayon Harrison has earned praise from Tottenham Hotspur's under-18 coach Kieran McKenna after his impressive performance at the weekend.
McKenna, speaking to the club's official website, had only positive words about the 17-year-old after he scored four goals against their Chelsea counterparts at the weekend.
His goal glut was not enough though to help Spurs avoid defeat, as they lost 6-4 in a chaotic encounter.
McKenna said: "I thought he was excellent throughout in his hold-up play and his work rate and he came up with some really good finishes for the goals, especially the fourth one. It was an excellent day for him and hopefully he’ll build on that."
Harrison had scored a hat-trick against Arsenal only last month, and is clearly in top form.
His four goal performance against Chelsea was even more remarkable, as Tottenham's website reports, Harrison scored four times in a game against Chelsea just last season, that one a 7-2 win.
The teenager featured in the FA Youth Cup semi-final first leg against Chelsea last month, and is in line to play against them at Stamford Bridge this week. He could not have asked for a more perfect warm-up from an individual point of view.
