Celtic FC Stands 2

Celtic captain Scott Brown got involved in preparations for the club's under-21 game last night.

Celtic captain Scott Brown has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons lately, with the Daily Mail reporting pictures of the skipper slumped over on a night out before the League Cup final.

However, he showed his more positive and impressive side last night as he got involved with the under-21 setup before the 1-1 draw against Dunfermline.

First team boss Ronny Deila will be pleased to have seen him responding in positive fashion and also giving the youth ranks attention despite an up and coming important cup replay against Dundee United.

He would have acted as an inspirational figure to the younger players last night and has also made himself more approachable to the next set of younger players trying to break into the Celtic first team.

He’s a first team icon and an example to the younger players of what can be achieved if they keep their heads down and work hard enough.

Responsibility and representing the club isn’t something he did in those images last week, but he certainly showed both of those qualities last night and it’s a shame that he didn’t oversee a win from the youngsters.
