Neymar never likes to miss an opportunity, at least not to offer a more light-hearted view ahead of important games to come for Barcelona, full of his usual boyish enthusiasm.
This time via his official Instagram account, he's pictured himself in camouflage combat attire, saluting his followers and ready to do battle for Barça, in their two pivotally crucial encounters this week, against Manchester City in the Champions League, followed by the much anticipated Clásico clash with Real Madrid, as the Spanish giants duke it out for leadership of La Liga.
"Ready for the week" he added with laughter, followed by the hashtag #Guerra (war).
His comments could also be seen as a cheeky response to sections of the Spanish media, who have suggested he's not battling enough for Barcelona so far this season.
However, his manager Luis Enrique is more than satisfied with the performances of Neymar throughout the season, explaining at his press call ahead of the encounter with Manchester City:
"It's impossible for a player to be at 100% all season. There are better and worse moments, but I'm happy with his overall performance this season."
