Neil Redfearn has been looking ahead to Leeds United's match against Fulham.
Leeds United manager has been speaking ahead of his side’s Championship clash with Fulham on Wednesday evening.
In comments published by Leeds’ official Twitter account, Redfearn took time to speak about coming up against two players the Whites’ fans will know extremely well in the form of Matt Smith and Ross McCormack.
The two strikers now play for Fulham but between them they made 205 appearances and scored 72 goals during their spells at Elland Road.
Regarding the prospect of facing the dangerous front-men, Redfearn said, “We’ve got to make sure we’re aware of what they’re capable of.”
But that is only half the battle; being aware of it and stopping it are two very different things and it will be up to Leeds’ back-line to keep the Fulham strikers at bay.
Leeds have recently paired Sol Bamba with Giuseppe Bellusci in the centre of defence and it would be a surprise if that did not continue later this week, with club captain Liam Cooper remaining on the bench.
Leeds have taken seven points from their last three matches and they will want to add another victory to their tally with 2015 looking promising for a side with an impressive if relatively small squad.
