Arsenal’s Calum Chambers tweets ahead of AS Monaco showdown

Arsenal have to score at least three goals against Monaco on Tuesday to stand a chance of qualifying to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has taken to social networking site Twitter to make it clear that the players are determined to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season.

The Gunners will head into the second leg of the last-16 tie against AS Monaco on the backfoot, having lost the first leg 3-1 at home.

The performance at the Emirates Stadium in North London last month was one of Arsenal’s worst of the season, and they now have all to do at Stade Louis II in Monaco on Tuesday.

Arsenal are in a good run for form at the moment, though, having won all of their competitive matches this month.

Manager Arsene Wenger and his players are in confident mood heading into Tuesday’s match, as proved by the following post made by England international Chambers on Twitter on Monday.

It will not be easy for Arsenal, though, as Monaco are defensively very strong and will have home advantage on Tuesday.

For the Premier League outfit to stand a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals, they will need to score two goals in the first half.
