Will Liverpool win as comfortably as Paul Merson predicts?
Former Arsenal star Paul Merson has told SkySports he believes Liverpool will keep up their recent impressive form against Swansea on Monday night.
Liverpool are unbeaten in domestic football in 2015, and need a victory at the Liberty Stadium to keep the pressure on Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to finish in the top four, with both of their rivals winning at the weekend.
A victory is far from a foregone conclusion however, with Swansea beating both Arsenal and United 2-1 on their own ground in matches earlier this season.
He said: "Liverpool are flying at the moment. They didn’t get the result they wanted in the cup but they are still in it. They are rolling. I think they will win this game.
"Daniel Sturridge is back now and he’ll be as fresh as anybody because he hasn’t played any games. That will be a massive advantage come the last 10 games."
Sturridge, 25, has three league goals and one assist this season in five starts and four substitute appearances, netting in their last game in the division, a 2-0 win at Anfield against Burnley.
Liverpool come into the game in fifth place, and Swansea in ninth position. The Reds have won four of their last five away matches, while Swansea have lost only one of their last five home games.
