Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Jamie Mackie's FA Cup performance for Reading

The Scotland international has been in great form recently.

The fairytale is over for Bradford City, but it continues for Reading. The Championship side are on their way to Wembley to take on Arsenal for a place in the FA Cup final in May.

The first fixture between the two teams finished 0-0 at Valley Parade and Bradford were never in the game at the Madejski Stadium.

Early goals from Hal Robson-Kanu and Gareth McCleary saw them on their way and when Filipe Morais saw red the tie was seemingly over.

But there was still time for one of their best players on the night to find the back of the net.

That player is a Nottingham Forest loanee, Jamie Mackie.

Mackie, who joined Forest from QPR in 2013, is currently on a season long loan deal agreed in August, after Stuart Pearce decided he was not in his plans for the upcoming season.

He is in great form. The strike was the Forest owned player's fifth goal in six games and his recent form saw him win the player of the month award at the Berkshire club in February.

His great form for Reading has certainly not gone unnoticed by fans at the City Ground. Here is some of the reaction from Nottingham Forest fans to his performance this evening:
