Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has released a video of his return to training via his Instagram page, updating supporters as to his progress.
The Brazilian has been out with a groin strain, and sent an encouraging message along with his video suggesting it will not be long at all until his return.
He wrote simply: "Not long now !!!", with the video of him running with no obvious discomfort a sign that he is nearing a comeback.
Liverpool play Swansea City this evening, but after that face a crucial game against Manchester United, one which could be pivotal in the race to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.
The way Leiva was responding positively to light training, suggests he could be in line to join the full group this week and come back into contention to feature against the Red Devils.
The defensive midfielder's experience would be invaluable in such a huge match, and the game on March 22 is one which had been earmarked by PremierInjuries.com as a potential return date.
He started this season out of favour under manager Brendan Rodgers, but only when he worked his way back into the team in late November did Liverpool's results begin to improve.
