Arsenal have welcomed Gabriel Paulista back into the squad to face Monaco.
Arsenal have been handed an injury boost ahead of their clash with Monaco by the return of Gabriel Paulista.
The Brazilian was pictured in training with the squad before they flew out, and manager Arsene Wenger confirmed to the club's official website that he has travelled and is available.
Gabriel had come into the side after their 3-1 defeat to Monaco in the first leg, before injuring his hamstring 35 minutes into the 2-0 win over QPR.
He is expected to start on the bench with Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny resuming their partnership in central defence which kept a clean sheet against West Ham at the weekend.
Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry meanwhile has confirmed he has returned to training, but has not flown out as part of the squad.
After not having trained for a few days as a measure of precaution I'm finally back with the team&fit as a fiddle!;-) pic.twitter.com/B84QAMRReM— Serge Gnabry (@SergeGnabry) March 16, 2015
From a Monaco perspective, there is good news for the Ligue 1 club. They have welcomed back Jeremy Toulalan, Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco, and Geoffrey Kondogbia to training ahead of the Champions League last 16 second leg, the IBTimes reported.
Former Spurs ace Dimitar Berbatov was also a full participant in training for Monaco, looking relaxed as ever as he aims to replicate his scoring performance from the first leg against the Gunners.
