Celtic fans react on Twitter to Scotland squad after Bhoys trio all omitted

Celtic Football Club

Celtic supporters have been frustrated by Gordon Strachan's decision to ignore many of their in-form stars.

Celtic fans have been left surprised by the decision of Gordon Strachan to omit Gary Mackay-Steven, Leigh Griffiths and Stuart Armstrong from the Scotland squad, which was announced earlier today.

Scotland face fixtures against Northern Ireland and Gibraltar at the end of the month and the fact the Bhoys trio are not in the team has been criticised.

Celtic fans are frustrated that James Forrest, a player who has struggled this season, has been included ahead of Mackay-Steven, whilst the decisions not to be Griffiths and Armstrong have been questioned.

Griffiths and Armstrong have both been in brilliant form recently and to leave them out seems a risk from Strachan.

The Scotland boss did select Crystal Palace's Barry Bannan, Sunderland's Steven Fletcher and Sheffield Wednesday's Stevie May, but none of the three have been in form and, as a result, the overlooking of the Celtic trio has frustrated.

Here is the best reaction from Celtic fans to Strachan's decision on social media site Twitter.
