Gordon wary of Dundee United threat
Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon is wary that Dundee United could be even more motivated to beat them on Wednesday night when the two sides meet in a Scottish Cup quarter-final.
The Bhoys beat Dundee United in the Scottish League Cup final yesterday and Gordon is wary of facing the backlash.
“I can’t look back because we’ve got a busy run-in to come," he said to the Daily Record.
“We’ve got a difficult game on Wednesday and this might give United an added incentive to come out and have an even bigger go."
Celtic linked with Gerrard
Gerrard is all set to move to MLS at the end of the season and Celtic reportedly believe they may benefit from it by being able to convince him to move to Parkhead when the American season has finished.
Stokes hails Brown
Anthony Stokes has praised Scott Brown for his commanding performances over the course of the season.
Stokes says that Brown is the man who sets the tempo for the Bhoys and he thinks that he is the right person to wear the captain's armband.
"He really does drive this team on," he said to the Glasgow Evening Times. "He lifts us, sometimes that is with a tackle that sets the tone in a game or sometimes it is just his manner on the pitch, but I don't think there is any question that he belongs in that team."
