BioShock Infinite now free on Xbox for March's Games with Gold

BioShock Infinite City in the sky

Xbox 360 owners can pick up their second free game of the month, courtesy of the Xbox Games with Gold program.

Today is the 16th March, and if you're familiar with the usual Xbox Games with Gold setup, you'll know that the 16th of each month is the date you get to download your next free game.

Hopefully you all downloaded March's first free game on Xbox 360 - Tomb Raider. Now, however, this month's second free game is up for grabs - BioShock Infinite.

BioShock Infinite is the third game in the BioShock series, and the final game developed by Irrational Games before it was shut down in February last year. It takes place in the sky city of Columbia in 1912, and players take on the role of Booker DeWitt, who is sent to Columbia to rescue a girl named Elizabeth.

I would urge everyone to play BioShock Infinite, not least because it received stellar reviews upon release, and is actually one of my favourite games, but because it's free, so you've nothing to lose.

Take a look at a trailer for BioShock Infinite below - it'll give you a taste of what's in store while you download the game.

Xbox One owners can still download their free game for March - Rayman Legends - along with #IDARB. We expect Rayman will be available throughout April too. And speaking of April, don't forget that Xbox teased that there will be double the free games up for grabs during that month. We'll give you an update once the games have been announced.
