Wolverhampton Wanderers failed to win yet again in the Championship, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion away from home on Saturday.
Kenny Jackett’s side headed into the clash at The Amex on the back of a 2-2 home draw with Watford, and many would have expected them to win.
However, Wolves had to settle for a share of the spoils as the game with Brighton ended in a 1-1 draw.
After a goalless first half, hosts Brighton took the lead in the 70th minute through Bruno Saltor, who drilled a low shot under goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak after Inigo Calderon had an effort parried.
However, four minutes later Rajiv van La Parra equalised for the visitors when his cross was palmed into his own net by Brighton goalkeeper David Stockdale.
Visitors Wolves had 51% of the possession, took 16 shots of which six were on target, and earned eight corners.
Wolves are currently eighth in the Championship table with 59 points from 37 matches, just three points behind sixth-placed Brentford.
Following the match, Wolves fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the team’s performance at The Amex.

@OfficialWolves we've missed out on a massive chance to gain on the teams above us today. Still at least it's a point gained. Bring on Tues!— Kyle (@KTaylor2904) March 14, 2015
@WednesfieldWolf very true, all we can look at is the fact that this match day we've gained points. 2 wins at home & we are at least 7th— James Bartter (@BartterJames) March 14, 2015
