Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Danny Batth reacts on Twitter to draw with Brighton & Hove Albion

Wolverhampton Wanderers drew 1-1 with Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday and will face Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Tuesday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Danny Batth has taken to social networking site Twitter to thank the fans for their support on Saturday.

Kenny Jackett’s side played out a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion away from home in the Championship.

It was the second successive game in the Championship which Wolves had drawn, and it saw them extend their winless run to three matches.

After a goalless first half, hosts Brighton took the lead in the 70th minute when Bruno Saltor drilled a low shot under goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak after Inigo Calderon had an effort parried.

However, Wolves restored parity just four minutes later through Rajiv van La Parra, whose cross was palmed into his own net by Seagulls goalkeeper David Stockdale.

Wolves are now eighth in the Championship table with 59 points from 37 matches, just three points behind sixth-placed Brentford.

Jackett’s team will be back in action on Tuesday when they take on Sheffield Wednesday at Molineux.

Batth, who featured against Brighton at The Amex and played the entire 90 minutes, was happy with the point and is looking forward to facing the Owls on Tuesday.
