The ex-Tottenham Hotspur duo were far from impressed on social media.
Former Tottenham chairman Alan Sugar and ex-striker Gary Lineker only needed to wait 45 minutes before being able to give their verdict on the north London side's heavy Premier League defeat to Manchester United.
By half-time, Spurs were already 3-0 down...
And neither Lord Sugar nor Lineker showed any mercy towards Mauricio Pochettino's men on Twitter.
Sugar, first off, was incensed by Tottenham's 'pathetic' defending as Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney gave Manchester United a commanding lead.
Spurs not in this game 2-0 Carrick ex Spurs player scores . Pathetic defending— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) March 15, 2015
I don't think the ball has been in Man U half for more than 30 seconds— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) March 15, 2015
Lineker, meanwhile, was surprised by just how 'useless' the north London outfit were against Manchester United despite this week not having their usual fallback excuse of midweek Europa League action.
And, in a reference to Rooney's boxing celebration after he was filming being 'knocked out' by Phil Bardsley in his own kitchen, the Match of the Day host suggested it was a complete no contest by half-time.
Every week after the Europa League, Spurs are useless.....oh wait a minute.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) March 15, 2015
If this were a boxing match they'd have stopped it by now.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) March 15, 2015
Louis van Gaal's Manchester United side have now strengthened their grip on fourth place, putting some more distance between themselves and Tottenham - as well as Southampton.
Liverpool - the other top-four contenders at present - will travel to Swansea City on Monday night.
