Manchester United face Tottenham this Sunday desperate to appease fans after losing to Arsenal at Old Trafford six days earlier.
Just three points separate the two teams, with United in fourth and Spurs sixth, and two former top flight stars believe there will be little to choose between them in their upcoming clash.
Former Arsenal star Paul Merson told SkySports in his weekly predictions column that he sees the two teams sharing the points.
He said: "I think Tottenham could win this but I’m going to go for a 2-2 draw. I say that because Manchester United can’t keep doing what they’re doing, surely? Will Tottenham go there with the confidence of opening up? For how poor they’ve been, it’s still Man Utd, so they need to be careful.
"If Man Utd lose this match, then they can say goodbye to their top-four chances. They’ve have got some tough games to come."
Merson hit the ball out of the park with his prediction for Arsenal v West Ham, correctly calling a 3-0 win for the Gunners with Olivier Giroud scoring first, and his United v Tottenham call is one which ex-Spurs boss Glenn Hoddle agrees with. In his new predictions column for ZapSportz, Hoddle also believes a 2-2 draw is on the horizon.
