Fraser Forster was in fine form against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, with the Southampton goalkeeper's saves going a long way towards earning Ronald Koeman's side a point at Stamford Bridge.
Le Tissier joked about the Saints now being a point closer to safety but, in reality, they are still very much in the hunt for a top-four or at the very least top-five place.
And the South Coast side's draw at Chelsea will have given them plenty of belief - a draw that wouldn't have been possible without a crucial double save from Forster in the second half.
West Brom's Foster, meanwhile, also praised Forster on social media, having come up against him recently when West Brom beat Southampton.
Southampton's draw takes them up to 50 points, one behind Liverpool. Chelsea, meanwhile, are now six points clear of second-placed Manchester City with a game in hand - and Foster's West Brom side are 13th in the Premier League.
