Match of the Day pundit Mark Lawrenson has written in his weekly prediction column for the BBC that Manchester United will draw against Tottenham Hotspur later today.
Lawrenson, a former Liverpool defender, correctly predicted that United would lose 2-1 to Arsenal in their FA Cup tie at Old Trafford last week - but is anticipating a draw for Louis van Gaal's side this week.
The Red Devils have been underwhelming for large spells of the season, but still remain in the top four, three points clear of today's opponents Tottenham.
Spurs have impressed recently, with the youthful trio of Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason and Harry Kane attracting the headlines, as well as star playmaker Christian Eriksen.
Both teams have Champions League aspirations, and the clash at Old Trafford promises to have a huge impact on the race for the top four.
Tottenham will be looking to continue their fine recent form at Old Trafford having won on their last two league visits, but Lawrenson believes it will be a 1-1 draw, as seen in his weekly BBC prediction column.
"This is a very big game for both teams in the race for a top-four spot," said Lawrenson. "United had been winning an awful lot of games without playing particularly well and eventually someone is always going to come along and show you up a little bit."
"Tottenham look in better shape, after reacting to losing the Capital One Cup final by coming back and winning two on the spin. A draw probably does not suit either team very much, with Arsenal and Liverpool both winning all the time at the moment, but I see the points being shared," he added.
As Lawrenson says, a draw wouldn't really do either side many favours, but it's a tough one to call - especially after the two teams drew 0-0 at White Hart Lane earlier this season.
