The Belgian youngster ended a long goal drought in style earlier today.
Divock Origi certainly impressed in the summer at the World Cup. The powerful and rapid striker was superb for Belgium and his performances were always going to attract attention.
But this season has been a struggled for the forward.
Before last night, Origi had scored just four goals in all competitions for Lille and was going through a barren spell in front of goal.
Origi had not scored since netting a penalty against Wolfsburg in October last year. His last goal from open play came in September.
But this evening he really got back into gear.
He netted the first hat-trick of his career for Lille this afternoon. He scored all three goals in a 3-0 win against Rennes, ending his drought in some style.
He is certainly in high spirits. He posted on Twitter earlier this evening a picture of his match-ball and shirt from a big day in his footballing development.

Liverpool fans will hope to see plenty of this Origi from next season.
