Derby County stars react on Twitter to Jamie Hanson’s debut

Jamie Hanson made his debut for Derby County against Norwich City away from home in the Championship on Saturday.

Derby County youngster Jamie Hanson has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his first-team debut for the club.

The versatile 19-year-old started the Championship clash against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday and featured for the entire 90 minutes.

Hanson, who can play in a number of positions, was deployed in the holding midfield position and gave a good account of himself.

The teenager won four of the seven tackles he attempted and two of the three headers he went for, although his pass accuracy of 64% could be improved upon.

Hanson was crucial in Derby winning a point at Norwich, as it was his corner in the 65th minute that led to the Rams’ equalising goal in the 1-1 draw.

The youngster was overjoyed to have made his debut for Derby and posted the following message on Twitter.

Many of the Derby players were also impressed with Hanson’s performance on his debut for the Rams and posted their opinions on Twitter.

Derby are currently fourth in the Championship table with 67 points from 37 matches, just two points behind leaders Bournemouth.
