Confirmed: Manchester United and Tottenham line-ups

Here is how Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will line up this afternoon:

Manchester United welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford this afternoon for a Premier League match that could have a huge part to play in the race for a top-four finish.

United are currently in the final champions League qualifying spot but the likes of Spurs, Liverpool and Southampton are all pushing hard to qualify for Europe’s elite competition.

United lost to Arsenal last time out, while Tottenham have won their last two matches following their League Cup final defeat to Chelsea.

United will have to do without the suspended Angel Di Maria and the injured Robin van Persie but Tottenham have been lucky with a lack of injuries and suspensions in recent times.

Without a win in their last five matches against Tottenham, United will want to put that right or risk more doubts creeping in regarding Louis van Gaal’s suitability for the job.

That said, United’s home-record this season is bettered only by league leaders Chelsea and it will make for an interesting encounter that really could go either way.
