Confirmed: Dundee United v Celtic line-ups

This is how Dundee United and Celtic will line up for the Scottish League Cup final at Hampden Park in Glasgow this afternoon…

Celtic will be looking to win their first trophy of the season when they take on Dundee United in the final of the Scottish League Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow this afternoon.

The Bhoys met Scottish Premiership rivals United only last weekend in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

On that occasion, Celtic were held to a 1-1 draw at Tannadice Park, and they will be determined to bounce back in style today.

However, Jackie McNamara’s side will be confident of winning today and adding more silverware to their trophy cabinet.

Ronny Deila’s Celtic side are not in a particularly good form at the moment, having won just one of their three competitive games so far this month.

That victory came against Premiership title rivals Aberdeen at Celtic Park, a game which the Bhoys clinched by scoring four goals without conceding any.

It promises to be an exciting game of football at Hampden Park in Glasgow this afternoon, and this is how United and Celtic will line up:

Dundee United XI: Cierzniak, Dillon, Morris, Fojut, Dixon, McGowan, Butcher, Paton, Rankin, Dow, Bilate

Subs: Szromnik, Souttar, Telfer, Spittal, Connolly, Erskine, Anier

Celtic XI: Gordon; Ambrose, Denayer, Van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Commons, Johansen, Stokes; Griffiths

Subs: Zaluska, Guidetti, Scepovic, Fisher, McGregor, Forrest, Henderson
