It has been a tough season for Divock Origi. He has gone from the elation of playing for his country in the 2014 World Cup and securing a move to Liverpool to struggling for form and goals back on loan at Lille.
However, the Belgian forward has bought himself some breathing space this season after scoring his first ever Ligue 1 hat-trick and helping Lille to a vital 3-0 victory over Rennes.
The forward hadn't scored a league goal since the September 27 when Lille beat Bastia 2-0, but now he has six goals for the season, one better than last season's final tally.

Unlike when he came off the field to a chorus of boos as Lille beat Lyon 2-1 at home, when René Girard brought Origi off on Sunday, the whole Stade Piere Mauroy crowd applauded the striker off the pitch. It shows just how fickle football fans can be, but it will be a huge boost to the player and the club for the remaining nine games this season.
Here are a number of photos from Origi's hat-trick and Lille's 3-0 win over Rennes.
