The Baggies midfielder has sometimes failed to produce his best this season, being played in a position that didn't necessarily get the best out of him.
Against Stoke, however, the 28-year-old was very much on song - and supporters at the Hawthorns didn't fail to notice.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis enjoyed another 1-0 win over his former side thanks to Brown Ideye's first-half winner, one that moves the Midlands club up to within two points of 11th-placed Newcastle United (before their trip to Everton later today).

As Opta stats show, meanwhile, West Brom fans are fully justified to sing the praises of their 28-year-old midfielder after his 90-minute shift at the Hawthorns.
Morrison created more chances than any other Baggies star against Stoke, made more passes than any of his team-mates and took more touches of the ball than anyone else bar Chris Brunt.
His most impressive statistic, however, was the fact the midfield man won no less than six interceptions against the Potters.
Here, then, is a selection of what West Brom fans are saying about Morrison's performance v Stoke on Twitter...
