The Denmark international had emerged as a target for the North Londoners, but is seemingly set for Sevilla.
Tottenham have been linked with a move for Michael Krohn-Dehli this week, with the North London club supposedly ready to pounce on the Danish midfielder.
Christian Eriksen’s international team-mate has been excelling for Celta Vigo and as such was being linked with a switch elsewhere.
However, with the Scandinavian a free agent at the end of the season, it appears that Krohn-Dehli is set for a move to Sevilla.
The veteran has been with Celta for three years and has proven himself this season as one of their most consistent players.
He has started 24 of the side’s La Liga games, scoring once and providing four assists for the overachieving side.
Spurs will look at it as an opportunity missed given the Dane’s close link with Eriksen, but at 31 the free agent does not really fit in with Mauricio Pochettino’s plans of building a young team for the future.
