The striker scored twice in a 4-2 win on Boxing Day 2012.

In what is arguably the biggest clash in the Championship this weekend Nottingham Forest travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United in a battle between two fallen giants of the English game.

The two teams have plenty in common; prestigious history, controversial foreign owners, managerial merry-go-rounds and, at the moment, some good form under their new bosses.

There will also be a striker on show who has played for both teams. Not the Forest manager Dougie Freedman, although he did, but Leeds striker Billy Sharp.

Signed from Southampton in the summer the goal getting centre forward has recently been used more frequently by Neil Redfearn after an initial injury problem for Steve Morison. He has impressed in those displays, scoring twice in three games.

Now he will face Forest, a team he spent the 2012-13 season with on loan from Southampton. He went on to score an impressive 11 goals in 40 games at the City Ground, in what was the first of three loan spells away from The Saints.

Two of those goals came against Leeds United on Boxing Day 2012, as pictured.

While this gallery contains elated pictures of Sharp celebrating goals for the travelling side today be in no doubt, he is likely to punch the air if he nets for Leeds this afternoon.
