The 26-year-old is enjoying his loan spell in Florida.
MLS grew by two teams this season. New York City FC and Orlando City joined as part of their expansion plans and brought some big players with them.
NYC signed (or did they?) Frank Lampard and David Villa while Orlando made Kaka the most expensive player in the league by bringing him to Florida.
Of course Orlando could not just sign world class stars such as Kaka. They also had to bring in plenty of other performers to supplement the team.
The likes of Sean St Ledger, Martin Paterson and Brek Shea are all at the club while they also signed Seb Hines from Middlesbrough. The one time hot prospect has suffered with serious injury problems during his time at Middlesbrough and after an injury plagued loan spell at Coventry City he went to Orlando on loan for six months.
Hines, who is half American, is now a team-mate of the former AC Milan and Real Madrid player, and told the Northern Echo about playing with the 2007 World Footballer of the Year:
“He has been terrific. When you have a guy like Kaka , you have to raise your game, everyone wants to be on his level. You don't want to disappoint him.
"That can only help the team. He has made everyone feel welcome and is a really nice guy. That showed when he scored and everyone celebrated with him.”
It is great to hear that the 32-year-old is no show pony at Orlando and is getting on fine with the likes of Hines - who have come from completely different backgrounds to end up playing in the Florida city.
Here’s hoping that Hines can shine in MLS alongside the Brazilian legend.
