The Etihad Stadium enforcer claimed that Coutinho was better than any other Brazilian playing in Europe currently, which would include the likes of Willian, Oscar and Neymar.
“I wanted to say ‘‘well done’’ to him after his winning goal,” Fernando is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.
“To me, he is the best Brazilian playing in Europe at the moment.”

The Rio de Janeiro born schemer has started 22 Premier League games for the Merseysiders this campaign, scoring four goals and creating four assists in the club’s efforts to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
