Karren Brady on how West Ham United can defeat Arsenal today

Arsenal and West Ham United will face each other at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League today.

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has written in The Sun that the team can defeat Arsenal today.

The Hammers will take on their London rivals at the Emirates Stadium for what promises to be an entertaining Premier League clash.

Arsenal will head into the game as favourites, but Brady believes that Sam Allardyce’s side can pick up all three points from their trip to the Emirates.

“I WAS brought up by a family of fanatical Arsenal fans and I have a lot of friends there,” the 45-year-old wrote in her football diary in The Sun. “But for 90 minutes tomorrow at the Emirates we shall be wishing each other defeat.

“I sing along with Alex Song, an ex-Gunner, who says we can win by copying Monaco’s tactics. If we do, I’ll even talk to Piers Morgan!”

Earlier this week,West Ham midfielder Alex Song said that his team should play like AS Monaco at the Emirates, as reported by The Daily Star.

The Ligue 1 outfit registered a famous 3-1 win at the Emirates in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie last month.

Monaco defended very well against Arsenal and were clinical in taking their chances. Of the 10 shots Leonardo Jardim’s side took, seven were on target and three resulted in goals.

West Ham are unlikely to score three times at the Emirates today, but if they get an early goal and then defend as a team, then they could stage an upset.
