Jordan Henderson tells Liverpool team-mate Martin Skrtel to 'get off' him through Instagram

The Slovakian was getting to grips with the Liverpool vice-captain in training today.

The Premier League's in form team Liverpool are not in action until Monday night. Brendan Rodgers will take his current stooges to his former stomping ground of the Liberty Stadium in Swansea to face Gary Monk's outfit.

Liverpool are currently on a fantastic run of form in the Premier League. So, to ensure they keep up that good form on Monday Liverpool have been hard at work in training this Saturday.

The likes of Steven Gerrard, Dejan Lovren and Lazar Markovic were all in action - while Jordan Henderson and Martin Skrtel have also been in action.

The latter pair have been in excellent form in recent weeks. The Slovakian has been solid as the centre-point of a revamped back three. Meanwhile Henderson has been sensational. He has worn the captain's armband on occasions and also scored a couple of crackers in recent times.

However, today, the two seemed to be going head to head in training - which certainly tickled Henderson.

Henderson posted this on Instagram earlier today, suggesting that Skrtel should be running rather than attempting to halt his own stride:

Get off me and run! @martin37skrtel

As long as both are up to speed for Monday night then Liverpool fans will be happy.
