Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish has sent a message to his teammates ahead of their vital Premier League clash with Sunderland.
The two sides will both be desperate for three points, which could go a long way to securing their top-flight status for another season, but Grealish will have only a watching brief as he serves a suspension.
Writing on Twitter, the youngster said, “Good luck to the lads today, gutted I can’t play cause of suspension. Come on boys, three points.”
Just one point and one place currently separates the two sides in the table, with Villa 17th and Sunderland in 16th.
A win for either side today will pull them further clear of the drop-zone and make the final few matches of the season that bit easier, but such is the importance that it is likely to be a tense affair with neither side wanting to give their opponents any advantage.
Leicester City, Burnley and Queens Park Rangers are currently below the two sides in the table and they will be both be hoping that is how things stay.
