BBC pundit raves about 'incredible' Taarabt and Bolasie

Jason Roberts was impressed by the Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace duo.

BBC Pundit Jason Roberts was impressed by Crystal Palace's 3-1 win over QPR, even praising both sides.

And two stars in particular were the subject of praise from the former striker on Twitter thanks to their 'incredible' skills.

Indeed, Roberts wanted Palace's Yannick Bolasie and QPR's Adel Taarabt to receive the ball more due to what they were producing while on it.

Taarabt had found it hard to get into the QPR side under Harry Redknapp this term but has been given more chances of late - both by Redknapp before he left the R's and by Chris Ramsey. Bolasie, meanwhile, has featured prominently for the Eagles throughout the season.

Adel Taarabt QPR 4 5 90
Wilfried Zaha C. Palace 4 1 57
Matthew Phillips QPR 3 1 90
Yannick Bolasie C. Palace 2 6 90

As Opta stats show, both did indeed dazzle with the ball, winning six dribbles and creating 11 chances between them. Bolasie had the last laugh as Crystal Palace secured three vital points against QPR, adding to the R's' recent misery.

But Taarabt certainly made an impression, while Palace's Wilfried Zaha and QPR goalscorer Matty Phillips also impressed with their skill on the ball.

Crystal Palace are now up to just two points behind 11th-placed Newcastle United, while their west London opponents remain in the Premier League relegation zone.
