Arsenal fans slam Calum Chambers performance v West Ham on Twitter

The England international struggled to contain Matt Jarvis on the West Ham wing.

Arsenal continued their recent good Premier League form today, defeating West Ham United at The Emirates Stadium. The Gunners were good value for their victory, playing some fabulous football in order to romp away with all three points.

Goals from Oilvier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey and a collectors item from Mathieu Flamini saw them win the game and give the fans some real hope of overcoming AS Monaco in the Champions League next week.

Of course, not all the performances were great and some criticism was levelled at Arsenal right-back Calum Chambers. The summer signing from Southampton had an impressive start to life in the Arsenal first-team but recently his form tailed off. Hector Bellerin has become the right-back of choice in Mathieu Debuchy's absence and that has seemed fair, given their respective performances.

Today Chambers found himself struggling to keep tabs on West Ham winger Matthew Jarvis - who himself has only been a bit-part player at West Ham this season.

That being said, his performance was not all bad. Going forward he looked a real threat, which is odd considering his future looks to be as a central defender and not a full-back.

But what did the fans think. Here is some of the best reaction from Twitter to Chambers' performance for Arsenal this afternoon:
