According to Spanish newspaper AS, Tottenham have joined the race to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Michael Krohn-Dehli this summer.
Krohn-Dehli, 31, is out of contract at the end of the season and has impressed in La Liga in a host of different positions for Celta Vigo.
The former Ajax man can play in central midfield, attacking midfield or as a right winger, and is noted for his high work rate and versatility.
It makes sense for a team to be looking at him as a possible free agent signing this summer when his contract expires, and with Spurs having a dearth of central midfield options behind Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason, adding an experienced midfielder in Krohn-Dehli could be a smart, cheap move for Pochettino.
Krohn-Dehli has made 47 appearances for Denmark, scoring six goals as one of their attacking outlets alongside Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen is of course a hero at White Hart Lane, and his nine goals and two assists in the Premier League this season have proven just how good he can be.
Teaming up with Eriksen again could be appealing to Krohn-Dehli, and the image shows the duo celebrating for Denmark in their Euro 2012 win over the Netherlands.
The pair were fantastic in that match, and if Tottenham do bring Krohn-Dehli to North London, fans will be hoping to see plenty more images of them celebrating together.
