The 19-year-old won the first ever Barclays Under-21 Premier League player of the month award.
Southampton have earned themselves a great reputation in recent years for their youth development. The likes of Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Calum Chambers have all recently made it big after graduating from the Southampton academy.
At the moment the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Harrison Reed are having their breakthrough seasons.
So who is next? Don’t be surprised if it happens to be this young man.

Ryan Seager has been awarded the first ever Barclays Under-21 Premier League player of the month for his recent performances for Southampton’s second string.
The 19-year-old, who recently made his Southampton debut in the 1-0 defeat to Swansea City in the Premier League, has scored 15 goals for the under-21 side this season. In February he scored against Chelsea and bagged an assist in four excellent performances throughout the month.
The attacker, who has featured for the England under-17 side, is clearly looking like yet another big hope for the Southampton first-team going forward.
Time will tell if he can follow in the footsteps of the big names to have come through the Southampton academy in recent years.
