Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Stumbling block appears over plans to sign Zaza

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Mirror has reported that Tottenham Hotspur are right in the hunt for Sassuolo striker Simone Zaza.

The paper claims that the player’s agent is due to fly to London for talks over a potential deal, but Juventus are also thought to be interested.

The Mirror’s report claims that any deal would cost Spurs around the £12 million mark.

Ladbrokes News has reported that Tottenham are going to take another look at signing Adrien Rabiot from PSG.

The French youngster was strongly tipped with a loan move to Tottenham during the January transfer window but a deal never materialised.

Central midfield is one of the strongest areas of Tottenham’s team, with plenty of home grown talent appearing in the middle of the team.

Tottenham Hotspur’s website has reported a boom in membership for ‘OzSpurs’, the club’s Australian supporter base.

It was recently announced that Tottenham would play a friendly in Sydney at the end of this season.

As a result, Australian fans have joined the supporters club in big numbers, ahead of being able to watch the club’s stars.
