Tottenham Hotspur fans were impressed with the performance of Adrien Rabiot for Paris Saint-Germain against Chelsea on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old midfielder did not start the Champions League last-16 second-leg tie between the two sides at Stamford Bridge, but he came on as a substitute for Marco Verratti in the 82nd minute.
Rabiot gave a calm and composed performance in midfield, helping PSG draw the game 2-2 and progress to the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition on away goals’ rule.
The highly-rated teenager ended the game with a pass accuracy of just 50% and made only one block, but the youngster’s ability to remain calm under pressure was admirable.
The PSG prodigy was close to joining Tottenham in the January transfer window, as reported by French publication Le Parisien.
Following the game on Wednesday, Spurs fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on Rabiot.
