Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard has been quoted by the Daily Express suggesting David Silva is as good as Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
Lampard is well placed to offer judgement on the dynamic midfield men having played for both clubs.
Lampard says Silva is one of the best players he’s ever played with, despite not having completed a full season with City.
“I’d put him right in the top bracket of the best players I’ve played with in my career. I’ve been fortunate enough to play alongside players like Gianfranco Zola, Arjen Robben and Eden Hazard among others and he’s completely up there with the best,” he said.
