Top five stats from Chelsea's 2-2 draw with PSG

Chelsea found themselves eliminated from the Champions League on Wednesday, following a 3-3 aggregate draw with French outfit Paris Saint Germain.

Chelsea saw their Champions League dreams shattered at the last-16 stage on Wednesday evening, as a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge saw Paris Saint-Germain progress on away goals.

The visitors were forced to play for most of the match with 10 men following the 31st-minute dismissal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but they managed to force extra-time when David Luiz's late header cancelled out Gary Cahill's second-half opener.

Eden Hazard looked to have secured the tie after scoring from the spot in the first period of extra-time, but Thiago Silva provided a vital second away goal to send his side through in the dying stages.

Here are the top five statistics from Wednesday's encounter:

7 - Jose Mourinho has now won just seven of the 24 matches in the Champions League knock-out stages as manager of Chelsea.

2 - Before Wednesday night, the Blues hadn't conceded a Champions League goal from inside the area this season. They now crash out the competition having conceded two.

0 - After firing a blank against PSG, Diego Costa has failed to score in eight hours and 28 minutes of Champions League football for Chelsea.

8 - The Blues have now scored eight goals from set pieces in the Champions League this season, more than any other side.

2 - David Luiz has now scored just one fewer Champions League goal for PSG (two in one season) than he did for Chelsea (three in four seasons).
