The German newspaper have suggested that Pep Guardiola’s men are ready to enter the race for the Brazilian star.

Arsenal have this week been linked with a summer move for Hoffenheim playmaker Roberto Firmino by Bild, who has been touted as Santi Cazorla’s possible long-term replacement at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Bild today suggest that the Gunners will have some competition for the Brazilian star’s signature, stating that the attacking midfielder has caught the eye of Bayern Munich.

The German daily newspaper go on to suggest that the Allianz Arena outfit are willing to pay up to €25 million for Firmino, while claiming that Monaco are also keeping an eye on the South American star.

The 23-year-old has been in stellar form for Hoffenheim over the last 18 months and has been rewarded by inclusion in Brazil’s latest national squad for friendly clashes against France and Chile.

Firmino has netted six Bundesliga goals for the modest German side this season and has also provided seven assists.

His partnership with young German forward Kevin Volland has attracted attention and it seems like only a matter of time before the South American star is on his way to one of Europe’s top clubs.
