Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has been singing the praises of teammate Harry Kane on the club’s official website.
England Under-21 international Kane has been in brilliant form this season and has been one of the best young players in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old has scored 16 goals and created 20 chances in 24 Premier League appearances for Tottenham, while having a pass accuracy of 75% and a shot accuracy of 59%.
Two of those goals came against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Saturday, a match which Spurs won 2-1.
Mason created one of those strikes for Kane, and he has now made a comment which will be familiar to all Tottenham fans.
"He works so hard on and off the pitch and everything he’s getting now is reward for the hard work that he’s put in,” the 23-year-old midfielder told Tottenham’s official website. "He’s full of confidence which is great to see.”
Kane is perhaps not the most technically gifted of players, but the youngster is very energetic and always works hard.
The Englishman has shown on many occasions this campaign that he is happy to drop deep and help out his teammates in midfield.
The youngster’s attitude and willingness to give his all has been refreshing, and the Tottenham fans will hope that he can now push on in the final months of the season to help the team finish in the top four of the Premier League.
Tottenham are currently sixth in the Premier League table with 50 points from 28 matches, just three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
