Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with another potential new forward.
The 23-year-old had previously been linked with a switch to fellow Italian side Juventus, but it seems Spurs are prepared to make their move.
The report claims that “at the moment there is only the desire to understand Tottenham’s proposal, but Juventus remain the first choice.” However, Spurs are clearly on the look-out for new front-men with only Harry Kane proving effective up front this season.
Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado have failed to hit the heights and it would be a huge surprise if Tottenham did not sign at least one new forward in the close-season.
Zaza has scored eight goals in 20 Serie A matches this season and he has a total of 18 in 58 matches for his current club. He has also been capped three times for Italy, scoring one goal to date.
The report claims Zaza has the ability to play abroad and it will be interesting to see what comes of the alleged talks with Tottenham, with a new name suddenly thrown into the mix with some time before the summer transfer window even opens.
