The Celtic midfielder was voted the SPFL's Player of the Month for February.
Johansen, who has been in fine form for the Bhoys this term, was rewarded for his impressive run of performances for Ronny Deila's side, during which he netted numerous Celtic goals.
Supporters have been quick to acknowledge the 24-year-old's contribution to the Scottish champions and so too, now, have the governing authorities.
Riise, meanwhile, a fellow countryman of Johansen's, took to Twitter to congratulate the attacking midfielder on the accolade, tipping him for a big future within football.
Big congrats to @stefanjohansen for being voted player of the month in Scotland. A great player with a big future. Well done mate— John Arne Riise (@JARiiseOfficial) March 11, 2015
Riise, 34, turned out for the likes of Liverpool and Fulham during his time in the United Kingdom and is now with APOEL in the Cypriot First Division.
His eye for talent, then, has been fine tuned with years of experience - he has played with the likes of Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso et al at their peak, while playing against some of the finest footballers of his generation, too.
Away from a bright future, though, will Johansen be celebrating multiple trophies with Celtic come the end of this campaign?
