Hull City fans react on Twitter to Steve Bruce announcement

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has agreed to sign a new contract with the Premier League club.

Hull City have announced that manager Steve Bruce will sign an extension to his current contract.

The Premier League outfit made the announcement on their official website earlier this evening, stating that the 54-year-old has already agreed on a new deal.

Bruce’s original deal with Hull was set to run out at the end of the season, and many would have expected him to leave.

The Tigers are currently struggling for survival in the Premier League and are among the top candidates to suffer relegation to the Championship.

Hull are currently 15th in the Premier League table with 27 points from 28 matches, five points above the bottom three.

Bruce has been in charge of Hull since 2012 and guided them to promotion to the English top flight at the end of last season.

It seems that the Hull bosses have faith in the former Wigan Athletic and Sunderland manager, and trust him to guide the club to future ‘success’.

But what do the fans think? Following the announcement, Hull supporters took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on Bruce agreeing a new deal.

Below are the best reactions.
