Senior analyst dies aged 37

Heath Bogin, a senior analyst at Citadel’s Surveyor Capital unit whose specialty was the technology industry, has died. He was 37.

Bloomberg News reports that he died on March 8 at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, according to an e-mailed statement from Jared Worman, a family friend.

The cause was lymphoma, which was diagnosed in January. Bogin lived on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

After a decade as an analyst on Wall Street, primarily at AllianceBernstein Holding, Bogin joined Surveyor Capital’s technology, media and telecommunications team in 2011. His focus was fundamental research.
