One of Celtic's key men has expressed his thoughts on social media.
Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen has taken to Twitter to thank the club’s supporters after he was named their Player of the Month for February.
The 24-year-old Norwegian has played an integral role as Ronny Deila’s side continue their pursuit of the treble, scoring four goals last month and continuing to look the part for the Scottish side.
Goals against Partick Thistle, St Johnstone and Hamilton Academical in the league and Dundee in the Scottish Cup mean Johansen has now scored 10 goals this season while he also has nine assists to his name.
“Thanks for the support,” the Celtic star wrote. “Great to get this one. Focus on Sunday now and hopefully get the first trophy.”
Such is Celtic’s current campaign that their players cannot pause to celebrate individual achievements, no matter how well deserved.
Deila’s side will be fully focused on the task in hand, which is attempting to overcome Dundee United in the final of the Scottish League Cup on Sunday, before turning their attention to the other two trophies still in their sights.
