Sinclair signed on loan from Manchester City and is excelling under Tim Sherwood who has found a way to get the best out of him, based on the system he’s currently using.
Sinclair is keen to cash in and make the most of his current form, as Villa attempt to pull clear of the bottom three in the league.
“I haven't been this hungry to play football for a long time - since I was a kid probably - because it's been so long since I've had a run of games,” said Sinclair.
“I am confident in my ability to score and create goals. It is just about playing games and being settled.”
What Sherwood needs to do is box up the positive feelings which Sinclair is experiencing and use them for the good of the side.
Villa need motivated and confident players all over their squad, which should ensure no dip in performance over the next few games.
It’s been a difficult start for Sherwood but back-to-back wins against West Brom has given the side something to build on.
Sinclair needs to try and be consistent but it’s important that the other key players in the squad step up and produce impressive performances.
If Villa can get several players playing well, they’ll hedge their bets and reduce the impact in terms of sharing around the pressure and criticism.
