Earlier this season, Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a loan move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 19-year-old was said to be new head of recruitment Paul Mitchell’s priority target according to a report from French publication Le Parisien.
The January move failed to materialise, with Tottenham having a surprisingly quiet transfer window, signing only Dele Alli in the final moments. But according to fresh reports, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have not given up on the PSG teenager.
As reported by Foot Mercato, Tottenham have allegedly invited Rabiot and his family to spend a few days in London, visiting the club’s facilities.
The report goes on that the news is sure to reach the ears of PSG coach Laurent Blanc, who has every intention of keeping the player.
Rabiot has made 61 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, scoring six goals and providing one assist in that time.
The defensive midfielder is highly-regarded and with a contract until the summer of 2019 it would be quite a move if Tottenham did ultimately get their man.
